Ivomec® is a broad-spectrum injectable endectocide for livestock containing ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone antiparasitic. It provides systemic activity against a range of susceptible internal and external parasites, making it a practical option for parasite-control programs in food-producing animals when used according to the registered label.

Ivermectin acts by disrupting parasite neuromuscular transmission, resulting in paralysis and elimination of susceptible parasites. Depending on the approved species-specific label, its spectrum may include important gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes, lice, mites and other susceptible ectoparasites.

Each mL contains Ivermectin 10 mg. For pigs, the label shown recommends 300 mcg ivermectin/kg body weight by subcutaneous injection, equivalent to approximately 1 mL per 33 kg body weight. Accurate weight estimation, aseptic technique and adherence to species-specific withdrawal periods are essential.
