Frontline Spray is a topical ectoparasiticide for dogs and cats containing fipronil, a phenylpyrazole insecticide and acaricide that acts on parasite ligand-gated chloride channels, resulting in hyperexcitation and death of susceptible fleas and ticks.

It is intended for the control of external parasites, particularly flea and tick infestations. The spray formulation allows treatment over the body surface and is useful when a topical whole-body application is preferred.

Each 100 mL contains 250 mg fipronil, equivalent to 0.25% w/v.
