Previcox is a veterinary non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing firocoxib, a highly selective COX-2 inhibitor designed to control pain and inflammation in dogs while preferentially targeting the cyclooxygenase pathway associated with inflammatory prostaglandin production.

Firocoxib is commonly used in canine patients requiring management of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation, including osteoarthritis, and may also be prescribed for perioperative pain control according to the approved product label and veterinary assessment. Its flavoured tablet formulation helps improve ease of oral administration and treatment compliance.

Each tablet contains 227 mg firocoxib.
